- Woken up on friday morning with loads of sms. "King Of Pop" Michael Jackson passed away. I was greeted with a sense of shock. Megasuperstars are seem immortal to us. Their music never die, live forever. But one day when they are gone in an untimely manner, all that left was sorrow and shock. So to Michael Jackson, thank you for being part of my growing up days; Watching your "Dangerous" LD. So this quote is for you
REMEMBER THE TIME when he was the
DANGEROUS, SMOOTH CRIMINAL. Together with the
MAN IN THE MIRROR, he
HEAL THE WORLD and
CHANGE THE WORLD. It was a
BAD, THRILLER to see him neither
BLACK OR WHITE. But now he's part of
HISTORY. Thank you for the
CHILDHOOD memories.
GONE TOO SOON Michael J.

My first MJ CD...... BAD
28 Jun 09Woke up at like 1130am...Felt so lifeless, so tired after a long day in JB on saturday.... Was like doing up this blog entry in the noon when
Abby sms for dinner with
Joon Siang at
ECP Food Village.. Off I drove there. Wow, another jam there again.. Arghhhh, but not that I wanna whine, but I had enough of jams yesterday
Was so afraid that both of them will overslept due to the lack of sleep we all had. Luckily Abby reached on time...

Super bloated dinner...We were deciding on where to head next for desserts. After several "constructive arguements", we decided to drive back to her house and park the cars there and hop on to her car.
Next location is
Obolo @Joo Chiat Road

Joon Siang

Abby

Wa2

3's loving them

Group photo...
Ambience wise, this Obolo much nicer then Cheesecake Cafe cos I like the nice, soothing music. Variety & quality wise, the latter is definitely my choice.
Went to Cold Storage to buy some stuff before taking back our cars at her house. Another week of work begins tomorrow and I am honestly suffering from Monday Blues. Well cos I had another lovely weekend.
New nicknames... "5 Tong", "1 Tong", "1 Bamboo".......Go figure who's which.
27 Jun 09Off to Johor we go..
Johor Bahru trip with
Abby & Joon Siang. I was awaken by her morning sms to remind me to borrow GPS. So gotten up immediately and drove to my cousin's office
Innovasia Technology Pte Ltd to loan one GPS unit.
Went home to change before meeting Abby at Great World City. Off we drove to Joon Siang's place at Kovan and then changed cars and headed to the Woodlands Checkpoint..
We were greeted with a massive 2 hour jam...... everywhere also jam

Into the customs.....

Across the causeway.........

Finally we are in JB Shores.......
1st stop : Holiday PlazaThe first thing when we entered the shopping complex was to see the shoe shop. Off Abby went to try and buy shoes.....Joon Siang went to have a small bite before we all headed for foot massage..

At the foot massage shop.. Abby & I went first while Joon Siang "see movies".. This friend of mine damn "evil", telling the massage fella to rub with more force so that I will yell out.. Well all for fun too!!!!!

After the end of our Holiday Plaza extravaganza, she left with
6 pairs of shoes.. More to come too! Things are cheap cheap too!
2nd Stop: Jusco @ Tebrau CityGPS brought us to our 2nd stop....It was a huge huge huge mall!!! The clothes there were relatively cheap too. Gotten myself a polo shirt and Abby got herself another 4 pairs of shoes...

While we were making our way to the carpark, we saw this massive massive queue. Guess what they were queueing for??

Well, its for the Autopay machine. Can't they all use the Touch & Go card to make payments for carpark? Well if they have thought of it, they would have implemented it long ago. Guess they have their reasons for not doing so.
Cheap parking rate.. RM1.00 only.. Wow..
We cant get enough of the Jusco mall. So will be back again to shop for more clothes. Wahah
3rd Stop: Restoran Khye ChiangWe're done shopping at about 11 plus. So originally was suppposed to head for some Teochew food for dinner. But it was closed to Joon Siang drove us to this place beside the sea for dinner. It was overlooking Singapore...
My first time having dinner at 12am........

3's a crowd.........

While along the way for dinner, we saw many pubs and nice cafes too. So we just dropped by Station 1 Cafe
4th Stop: Station 1 Cafe
For drinks and easy listening music..... This music here is just superb for my liking. All 80's and early 90's love songs! OMGness man.. Sitting there, listening to those love songs and chatting just makes a saturday night perfect.
I guess I can spin my own love songs there too! wahaha

Ice white coffe. Red Bean Passion, 3 Layer tea.....

5th Stop: Shell Petrol Kiosk and homeCar wash and then headed home......Jam @ Woodlands checkpoint as they had to termal scanned everyone due to the H1 N1

Reached Singapore shores at 4am. Many thanks to Joon Siang for sending me back home!
Overall, it was a great day to spend time with both of them outside Singapore. Nice accompanying her for shopping.
10 shoes in 3 hours. Amazing!!!!!!!
When we going to Malacca??
Value of friendship is priceless......
