Was bored & rotting at home on a saturday. Kinda good actually cos I was seldom at home on weekdays.. As much as I wanted to go out, part of myself told me to stay at home.

Busy surfing the internet when Abby msg to meet Joon Siang for some shopping and dinner at Tampines 1. Well seems fine with me so I prepared myself and then off for a 1 hour MRT ride to Tampines.. Wa2 off to the east!

Went Uniglo to look at some clothes.. Not really that cheap, and its of normal quality. I guess I will have to settle for Cotton On instead. I love polo shirts with big logos at the side. wahah.

Dinner at Manpuku Japanese Gourmet Town. Ala "Marche" style.













While walking around, I saw this at the shop... Heh!




After Tampines1, we were contemplating whether to go to ICB for chicken wings or Bark Cafe.. Bark Cafe sounds nice to be and another "photo opportunity". So we drove off to Bark Cafe at Changi. Whilst along the way, pop by Loyang Tua Pek Kong to pray.

Nice place to chill out. Was chatting about food and then suggested Johor for dinner some day, and a short trip up to Malacca too!!!!

Driving back to Abby's place to get the car, at the last min turned into Changi AIrport for some Popeye's as we remembered Joon Siang mentioning that he will eat a piece of it. Turned into the lane towards Changi Airport right at the last min where the chevron markings were!





Nonono, I cannot take it anymore.

Joon Siang dropped me off at Somerset to wait for the NR5 home.. Spent 30min waiting for it and reached home at about 4am.....

Another sinful food day, but most importantly enjoyed myself. Really looking forward to our Malacca food trip! Chendol, here we come!!

- Week 2 of working ended. Jean's on leave for this coming week so I have to handle the work myself. I can do it!

- Joon Siang's food tour during the weekend. Not too bad lah. Nothing beats having a good weekend with good friends. We're supposed to go for Dim Sum at Jade @Fullerton Hotel. But full all the way till september. Talk about recession.

- The girl who attended me at the optical shop resembles XL. From head to toe and I was shocked too. Haiyo.. I miss her tbh. Try as I may to ask her out, she's always busy. =)

Woke up in a daze at 10am. Had to pack my camera stuff for my cousin's Eugene & Cheryl ROM at Hotel Royal. Another cousin has left singlehood. Hah more photos will be posted up at a later date cause till busy editing them..

When I reached Hotel Royal, some girl caught my eye. Couldn't really figure out who she was, but I found her familiar. In the end, she called out to me. It's my office's HR girl. So fated to bump onto her in the hotel.

Joon Siang smsed us (Abby & I ) for dinner at Beaulieu House later in the day. Confirmed attendance and here we started yet another round of foodie adventure.

Met up with Abby at office as she wanted to take her stuff and here we set on a long drive all the way to ulu Sembawang. Beaulieu House is very near Buckaroo too!







Set on a hill overlooking the waters of Johor Straits, Beaulieu House is one of the few restaurants that provide a magnificient view of the sea. Located inside Sembawang Park, it is filled with greenery for couples and families and friends to dine and relax.

It's a pity that we couldn't enjoy the sunset as we reached at 745pm! We settled for Tza Char for dinner. Food wise was just average but the ambience is kinda different as it's away from the hustle and bustle of the city

Dinner's really slow. I mean the service as well. Stomach was growling all the way. I would give this place another chance as I wanted to try their "Rack of Ramp", i mean Lamb the next time.

Not too bad of a place for casual dinner and quiet date.. Best is FREE Parking. Off we drove down the road to Buckaroo for "supper & desserts".



Ordered some beers, Stella Artois, Hoegaarden & San Miguel; Level 3 buffalo wings; clam chowder and mushroom soup; tiramisu.

Don't know why the Level 3 wings were soo spicy. I almost wanted to tear as I struggled with it. Abby's was struggling too and Joon Siang's perspiring.

Dinner's over. Stomach bloated for the 2nd day in a row. Decided where to go. ICB (Ice Cold Beer) or movie. If we go to ICB, i guess I can't drink anymore, too bloated. So we settled for movie at PS. Night At The Museum 2 at 12am.. Off we took a slow drive there...





Night At the Museum was like Night At The Cinema for me. I was constantly dozing off. Haha. But then again, I still understood the movie. Quiet enjoyable to watch.

Took a cab home after that.

Weekends are here again! Went to Abby's office with M for a short while after work. Abby & I for dinner with Joon Siang at 8pm at Blue Basil @Cairnhill Road.. Don't know how the heck he manage to find such nice and cosy places for dinner

Since we knew we will be early, she parked at Emerald Hill and then walked to Taka for some shopping, and for books.. Gucci's having a sale so we went to take a look as well.. The bag's nice rite, Abbs?

Hmm gotten a little lost finding the restaurant. We somehow knew where it was but then still trying to figure our way there from Paragon. Tada! We managed to find it and Joon Siang's was already seated. Oops

When we reached, the desserts were almost sold out and they were closing soon so we had no choice to proceed to PS Cafe @Dempsey for desserts. Spruce's looking good too so I'll be back.

- 1st of work gone in a flash. Before I knew it, it was over. Work wise, it's kinda tedious as I am doing accounting. So have to make sure everything and the numbers are "swee swee". Colleagues wise, they are fine.

- Lunch and after-office hours are always an adventure!

We had planned this outing since February. Due to prelims and exams, we had to wait patiently for this day to come. It's a pity my cousin Eric couldn't join us, else there will be more people to race with. Other then that, we all sweated, enjoyed and had fun tremendously. Pockets, legs, arms burnt; but was well worth the money.

Billy picked Xue Fang & I up at Clementi MRT at 945am, and off we drove off into JB with Dominic & Alex. Had a little jam there, but not an issue. With Eric's GPS set, we made our way to the Plentong Karting Circuit with relatively ease. Sometimes the GPS took us the wrong direction too

It's a 5 day week job so it's still alright for me. Paywise is good to my standard. But I guess I am abit stupid not to put a higher amt during the interview. Drawback is that I have to wear formal on mon to thurs. Hope everything will go smooth for me tomorrow!

- And I hope to get my Tag Heuer 3006-012 Reflex Rimmed specs should the supplier have stock. Else have to buy online. My current one is 50% gone case. Red side temples starting to peel ...

Another Sentosa day again with Xue Fang, Eileen, Billy and his cousins. Damn I slept at 5am and was in a daze when I saw the cloudy sky at 9am.

I thought that I can sleep longer and then Billy called to say the weather is all clear at 11am.

So off I dragged my feet to meet Fang and the train station. Billy picked us up at Clementi and off to Sentosa we went in via the cheapo "XXX Costal Drive" tactic. HEH

Was like roasted and burnt after Sentosa today.. Left for Kailing's Body Shop to get some stuff at a huge discount..

At night, drove in Xue Fang's car to meet her friends Xue Wei, Charmaine, Billy, Melissa, Jean & Cindy at St James...

Hot hot day!!! Off to the beach we go! Billy, Xue Fang & Melissa.. I am burnt, roasted, whatever you called it. Haha. Haven been to tan for like 2 years, and that was my last time to the beach. Abit "wasted" that Sandy was unable to join us..

While on the way in to Sentosa, at that admission ticket counter. Billy was damn funny. He told the guy that we were visiting his aunt at XXX, Costal Drive. Which is true that his aunt has a unit there.

All us went in Sentosa for free again. Cheapo us.. I know I aint have a nice figure like Billy, but who cares? Off for fun & laughter and swimming!
